Shuhari Martial Arts was founded in 1992 in downtown Barrie. 25 years later, it has grown into the oldest, largest and most reputable Traditional & Modern Martial Arts training facility in Barrie and one of the most beautiful clubs in the country. Shuhari is an un-paralleled, professionally operated, multi-tiered, Kids Self-Defense & Character Academy. Our Chief Instructor is a career Martial Artist. Along with the Assistant Chief Instructor, they combine to teach the entire kid program. All kids & teens train, they do not teach, wear black belts or train Martial Arts for sport. Adults enjoy programs in a safe, highly screened, mature environment, no egos or competition. We offer Traditional & Modern Martial Arts for Mature Adults. Karate/Kickboxing, Kung-Fu/Kobudo, Jiu-Jitsu/BJJ, and TMMA. None of which is for sport or competition of any kind. Train for health, stress release or practical skills while you build friendships, have fun and become a part of our powerful family. We do everything under one roof.
