2013 (12^th)Beijing Jinshanling Great Wall of China Marathon

The marathon is taking place on Jinshanling great wall, Beijing on May 1st, all the marathon route is on Great Wall. Actually Jinshanling Great Wall is the most beautiful part of Great Wall, all those pictures of great wall you see mostly are taking from Jinshanling . The marathon has 5 categories, full (43 KM), half ( 21.5km), 10km, 5km and 10km walking.

The price is CAD$649 p/p. The registration for the marathon is an additional CAD$198 p/p.

Day 1: April 27 Arrive at Beijing (D)

Upon arrival in late afternoon, you will meet our professional English-speaking tour guide and transfer to the hotel by a private air conditioned tour bus. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this city once known as Peking to Westerns.

Day 2: April 28 Beijing (BLD)

Today, we start our sightseeing with a visit to the Tiananmen Square—the largest public city square in the world. From there you enter The Forbidden City to observe the 250-acre complex of palaces, pavilions, courtyards and gardens. After lunch we take a Hutong tour by rickshaw ride to look around Beijing’s traditional old alleys and visit local residential courtyards

Day 3: April 29 Beijing (BLD)

In the morning, we visit the Temple of Heaven and join local residents in practicing Tai Chi and morning exercises in the park. We visit Summer Palace, a royal resort during the Qing Dynasty in the afternoon. We drive to great wall hotel and have dinner.

Day 4: April 30 Beijing (BLD)

Day at Leisure, getting ready for the race.

Day 5: May 01 – Race day (BLD)

Transportation is arranged

Day 6: May 02 Beijing (Optional tour) (BLD)

Today we drive back to Beijing, after lunch we visit Beihai Park and Jingshan Park.
