Every once in a while I will get a call from a client, sometimes they're scared and sometimes they're angry. They received a phone call from Microsoft telling them a proble or a virus has been detected on their computer and for a specified sum of money it can be fixed right now while they are on the phone with you! This is a scam, rest assured that Microsoft will never call anyone with less than several thousand computers. Wish them a Merry Christmas and hang up the phone.
