"Since 1987, before immigrating to Canada in 2002, I worked as a nurse for 14 years back home in several areas of the job such as emergency critical care, trauma and surgical. I earned my Canadian nursing license in 2005 and was hired in the Cardiac floor of Humber Hospital, and within 6 months of working there I was moved to Intensive Care Unit. In November of 2008 I was hired to work in ICU at Royal Victoria Hospital, and have been working there since. Helping patients and families receive the best possible care makes my job more like an enjoyable service. Thus, in 2008 I launched Call & Care Nursing staffing agency. After 5 years of giving services to hospitals and Nursing homes, we changed our services to Home Health Care. Personally, this company is a small way for me to give back to the community, in return for all the help my family and I received when we first immigrated to Canada.
