Here at Guaranteed Services, our dirt removal bins are the solution! Whether you need something for one quick day of cleanup or you need one for a bit longer, our same-day delivery and pick-up keeps you on schedule. Rest assured that we dispose of the soil legally and in compliance with waste disposal regulation. Here are a few instances in which our dirt removal bins can come in handy.
- Landscaping- A large landscaping project can mean lots of extra dirt, particularly if you are planting trees or shrubs, or putting in hardscape materials. You’ll be able to maintain a cleaner project with dirt removal bins on site, making it easier to work and keeping your customers happy.
- New Home Construction- If you are building a new home for a customer who has requested a basement, you will likely have a lot of dirt to be removed during the excavation. Our dirt removal bins are an ideal solution. We can set you up with several for the task or come pick them up as they become full, bringing a new one with us.
- New Commercial Construction- It is typical for commercial building construction to entail a vast amount of excavation to put footers and foundations in place and perhaps even underground levels, such as a parking garage, basement for utilities, and so forth. Contact us for dirt removal bins to keep your project on schedule and on budget.
- Manmade Lake or Pond- From ponds for agricultural use to large lakes for planned communities, if you are involved in creating a manmade lake, pond, or other water feature, use our dirt removal bins to dispose of the soil you are excavating.
- Septic Installation- Putting in a new septic system involves removing the dirt where the septic tank and drain field equipment will be put in place. Our dirt removal bins give you a place to put the dirt so that it isn’t creating a mess in the yard.
Getting a New Roof? 3 Reasons to Choose Roofing Disposal Services
Getting a new roof installed on your home or office property can be both exciting and a little scary. Not only do you need to be able to protect the interior of your property during this time, but you also have to be around for questions and supervisory purposes. If you know you will be getting a new roof in the near future, you will need roofing disposal services for these three reasons and others:
- Convenient. When you have roofing disposal services come to your property, you don’t have to worry about what you will do once you gather and load all of your roofing materials to be tossed in the dumpster. Roofing disposal services come directly to your property, place your dumpster, let you fill it, and then will pick up and dispose of it. It’s as easy as picking up the phone.
- Safe. If you have ever tried to lift old shingles, you know that they are much heavier than they look! When you allow the people working on your roof access to roofing disposal services, you can worry less about injuries and pain.
- Cost-effective. Instead of going to the dump several times per day or week depending on your roof size, roofing disposal services are very cost-effective, especially if your dump charges by weight. Roofing materials are often much heavier than they look or than people realize, which can be costly at the dump.

Looking to Move in the Near Future? Some Home Renovations that Will Pay Off
Sometimes we know when we move into a house that we are going to be there forever. For many of us, however, we will need to move a few or several times during the course of adulthood for family reasons, career purposes or just to enjoy a new area. If you know that the house you are currently in will not be the home you move into and don’t ever move out of, you can make some home renovations that will help your home be more desirable in the future. If you are looking for home renovations that will have the best return on your investment, consider the following options:
- Landscaping– Even if you never would judge a book by its cover, we all will judge a house by its curb appeal! Giving your home some style and attractive features with carefully done landscaping can make more buyers interested to see what is on the inside of your home.
- Minor upgrades to major areas– If your kitchen or bathrooms are dingy or just outdated, minor upgrades to these spaces can have a better ROI than if you gut these spaces and start from scratch. Save the cabinets when possible and opt for new hardware or paint. Things like light fixtures also require little investment but have big payoff!
- Front door upgrade- Just like the landscaping, buyers want to see a front door that isn’t stock white! Whether you paint it a bold, bright color or a more neutral tone, a beautiful door gives buyers something to like from the moment they come to your home.

Selecting the Right Size for Your Bin Rentals
Are you looking to do a little remodeling on your home or office? Perhaps you need to clean up an empty lot and get it ready for construction? There are times when your usual garbage can simply won’t cut it, and those are the times that you need to look for bin rentals. One of the biggest problems that people have when they are considering bin rentals is translating the amount of construction or yard debris into the bin rental of the appropriate size. However, there are a few ways that you can determine the right bin rentals for your next project.
For smaller household projects that many of us choose to do with our homes, a mini-dumpster should work nicely. If you are converting one room into an office or free space, tearing out some old tile or cleaning out some closets, mini-dumpsters will do the trick.
For those in-between projects, where you don’t need a massive bin, but also need more than a mini-bin, choose nothing larger than an 11-meter dumpster. This size will work on those projects that involve remodeling a major room, such as a kitchen or bathroom. These larger bin rentals will also work well for large landscaping projects like tree or shrub removal.
The largest of the bins should be reserved for things like cleaning out an attic, major renovations to your office or home, and landscaping projects that include the removal of large, mature trees, outbuildings or clearing large spaces.
At Guaranteed Services, we understand that you still might not be sure of the bin rentals that you should choose, but we are here to help! Give us a call, and we will work together to get it sorted out.

Home Construction Waste Removal Tips
When choosing a home construction waste removal strategy, you should consider the type of container you need and the length of the project. If you hire a contractor, he or she will manage all of these details on your behalf, and the contractor will let you know how long a container will be in use at your home.
On the other hand, if you are managing a home renovation yourself, you will need to spend time thinking about the details of waste removal. Here are a few tips to consider:
- Length of time: First, you should consider how long you need a container. You may have a long-term project on your hands. However, remember that you may fill up a dumpster before your project is complete. In that situation, you should talk to the waste removal company to determine when a dumpster should be emptied and how a replacement bin will arrive.
- Size Matters: You should also consider what size of bin you need. Smaller projects that produce less waste will require a smaller bin, and larger projects that will produce more waste will require a larger bin or a bin that is emptied more frequently.
- Bin Quality: Additionally, you should look for bins that are durable and well-cared for. At Guaranteed Services, we paint our bins regularly to ensure that they are always in tip-top shape.
If you are interested in renting a bin for waste removal, contact us! We would be happy to help you pick the right bin for your home renovation project.
How Dumpster Disposal Works for Home Renovations
As you start a home renovation, there is a lot to consider. You have probably thought a lot about what you want the final product to look like. However, there is a lot more planning you will have to do before you get there!
If you hire a contractor, you may leave a lot of the logistics coordination to him or her. However, you may wish to take ownership of the project on your own. DIY home renovations can be accomplished with less stress if you make sure to plan carefully before undertaking your project.
One item you need to consider is dumpster disposal. As you rip out old cabinets, replace flooring, and update windows, you will have a lot of waste. You can’t simply rely on your local waste removal to handle this volume of waste! So, you can rent a waste removal container for your home.
Dumpster containers come in several sizes. Be sure to talk to the staff at a waste removal company to ensure that you get the right dumpster disposal for your project. You need to consider the size of the container, when it will need to be removed, and how it will fit on your property during construction.
As you make these decisions, we invite you to speak with our staff at Guaranteed Services! We are happy to work with you to choose the right dumpster disposal for your home renovation project. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you as you complete your home renovation.

Containers and Roll-Off Bins: What to Know Before You Rent
Containers and Roll-Off Bins: What to Know Before You Rent
by Waste Services Specialist | Nov 15, 2018
If you need junk removal or construction waste removal, you will have to decide what strategy will work best for you. One of the most popular options is to rent containers and roll-off bins, but this may not be the right choice for every person, every situation and every job site.
Before calling to rent containers and roll-off bins, you should consider these things carefully:
- When will you want the bin delivered and when will you want it picked up? You may need to be present for delivery to oversee placement of the bin on your lot.
- How long will you need it? Bin rentals can range from one day to much longer projects.
- Containers and roll-off bins work well for construction sites and remodeling, especially during the demolition phase when significant amounts of debris are being removed from a property all at once.
- How large of a bin do you need? If you aren’t sure, we have a variety of bins available, ranging from only 10 cubic yards all the way to 40 cubic yards. We will also need to know how much room you have for a bin on your lot.
- While delivery and pickup are included in pricing, you have to load it on your own. You may also need a permit to have it on your lot, especially if you have to place it on the street.
- The bin cannot be used for hazardous materials.
If containers and roll-off bins don’t meet your needs, you could consider hiring a junk hauling service. This means that you pay for a crew to remove your debris for you, usually by the hour. For further information, feel free to give us a call.
Your Home Renovations Waste Disposal Can be Reduced
The home renovation process can be an exciting time, but home renovations waste disposal is rarely exciting. This process inevitably leads to debris and waste, but there are things you can do to reduce the amount of waste your renovations creates, saving you money when it comes time for home renovations waste disposal. If you plan for waste disposal earlier in your renovation, it will feel less stressful.
One of the easiest things you can do to reduce the size of your home renovations waste disposal is to donate items that can be reused. Any items that are going to be donated will have to be removed more carefully to avoid damaging them, but the little bit of extra time is worth it to cut down on waste. Donated items could include any of the following:
- Furniture that is no longer wanted but still usable
- Working appliances that are being replaced
- Countertops and cabinetry
- Functional light fixtures and windows
During home renovations, you will have other materials that cannot be reused or donated, and for that, you can rent a roll-off dumpster. Before renting a bin, you will need to be able to identify what you will be putting in the bin, when you will need it delivered and when you will need it picked up. Keep in mind that you cannot put hazardous waste in a general bin. These materials will need special disposal plans.
When it comes to home renovations waste disposal, planning is the key to success and reduced stress. Contact us today to find out more!
Major Construction? Don’t Forget Your Soil Removal Bins
One of the challenging aspects of a major construction job is what to do with the leftover soil. Over the years, it has become more challenging to responsibly and legally dispose of leftover soil from construction. One solution is to rent soil removal bins from a company like us, Guaranteed Services.
If you are considering renting soil removal bins, there are some things you need to know before you do:
- What size bins do you need? If you need help determining this, we can help. We have a variety of soil removal bins available, including ones from 10 cubic yards to 40 cubic yards to meet a wide range of needs.
- When do you need the bins? We will need to have a delivery date and an estimated pickup date. If you end up needing the soil removal bins for longer than expected, we are usually able to be flexible and accommodate your needs.
- There are limits to what you can put in the bins. We cannot haul off hazardous material because of the risk to the environment and people. If you designate the bins for soil removal, it is important that only soil ends up in the bin. There can’t be any general waste, concrete, bricks, electronics or other landscaping waste like grass and plants. Soil can be recycled and reused if the bin is not contaminated with other materials.
Soil removal bins can help you get rid of unwanted soil, but they can also be used to store soil that will be needed later in the construction process or to move large amounts of soil from one place to another. To find out more, give us a call!
Things to Consider Before Renting One of Our Roll Off Bins [infographic]
At Guaranteed Services, we offer effective waste disposal solutions for homes and businesses. If you need to rent a roll off bin for an upcoming project but have questions about the process and our related services, we’ve answered some of the most common questions we receive below.
- What can I put in your bin rentals? We charge different rates for concrete, soil, and roofing materials compared to general household cleanup (i.e. if you are cleaning out your garage). Please let us know what you plan on putting in the bin during the reservation process.
- Will you be able to sort the materials into different bins? Depending on your project, this approach may work, but please check with your local municipality (or us) beforehand.
- Do I need a front load bin? Front load bins have doors that swing open and allow you to walk items directly into the bin, as opposed to lifting or dropping items over the side. Based on your project, we can recommend whether a front-load bin is necessary or not.
- What size bin do I need? We offer roll off bins in many different sizes and can make recommendations if you are unsure of what size you need.
- Can you empty and replace the bin before I finish the project? If you’re working on a big job, like a renovation or landscaping project, you may need us to empty and replace your bin partway through. Let your dispatcher know if this may be the case ahead of time, so we can plan for emptying and replacing your bin before you get started.
- Do you require contracts? We do not require you to sign a contract because we are extremely confident you will be more than happy with the quality of our services.
- What if I need the container longer than expected? We can extend your rental term, but additional charges may apply.
- Will the container harm my driveway? To prevent damage to the driveway or sidewalk, we place wood under the container’s touch points.
When to Choose Mini Bin Rentals
When you think about bin rentals, you probably picture large roll-off dumpsters in your mind. But roll-off bins come in all sizes, and one of our most popular options is our mini bin rentals. Our mini bins are made of quality materials and well-constructed, just like our larger bins. They are regularly painted and in good condition. When they are no longer in good condition, they are retired.
You may be wondering if mini bin rentals will suit your needs. They are very useful for smaller city lots where there simply isn’t room for a larger bin, or for smaller jobs like business projects, minor remodeling jobs or roofing. These projects may generate more debris than you want to put in your regular trash cans, but don’t really call for a giant bin.
Here are some of the advantages to using our mini bin rentals for your debris removal needs:
- These smaller metal containers are still sturdy enough to handle the job.
- They can be dropped off and picked up on your schedule, with delivery and drop-off even occurring on the same day if you want to get it out of your way.
- They are likely to fit on your lot. We will carefully place the bin in your yard or driveway with wood underneath the touch points to keep the ground safe. If you don’t have room on your lot, you may need a permit to place one on the street.
Before we complete your mini bin rentals, we will need to know what you plan on putting in the bin, how long you need the bin and when you want the bin delivered. If your job takes longer than expected, we can generally be flexible and work out a plan with you to keep it longer.
Moving Tip: Bin Rentals Can Save You Money
It is an exciting time to begin the journey to relocate to another area of the country. The chance to start fresh where there is a new opportunity can be a great experience. There is just one challenge to overcome – covering the cost of a long-distance move. This is far more involved than getting a rental truck to go across town. You’re probably going to use the services of a long-distance moving company and most of them charge a flat fee and then variable rates depending on what you move. Here’s a tip you might not have thought about to control costs – weigh things! If something would cost more to move than to replace, ditch it. And, that is where bin rentals come in, especially if you have a lot to get rid of.
While it is true that you could give away some and sell others, the quickest way may be just to toss things away. This could be important if you have a new job to get to and you don’t have a couple spare weeks to deal with a garage sale or listing things online. Bin rentals will be the solution if you have quite a bit to deal with and don’t want to take time from packing to cart it all to the disposal facility. It also works great if you don’t have an appropriately sized vehicle to handle the disposal.
It may go against your thought processes to throw out perfectly good belongings, but if you think of it in terms of saving money and getting brand new things, it might just make more sense than you think. Some things, such as furniture, can be quite heavy and costly to move, so considering the value of each item could save you a ton of money.
If we can help here at Guaranteed Services with our bin rentals, be sure to give us a call. We have many sizes to choose from, so you can keep your move affordable by considering this less conventional way to handle a long-distance move.

Unique Tip for Home Renovations – Debris Removal Solution
Putting up the holiday tree and decorations is fun; taking them down, not so much. The same is true when doing home renovations. Doing the improvements and seeing progress slowly transform your home is fun; dealing with debris removal, not so much. However, there is a way to make it less of a hassle – utilize rental construction bins.
Two of the challenges of doing home renovations yourself is getting the materials to your home and getting rid of the debris. If you don’t own a truck sufficient for this, however, there are other options. Most material suppliers offer delivery services so that you can get your improvement supplies brought to you. The other half of solving the dilemma involves using construction bins that are delivered right to your home and then picked up at the end of your project. If you are involved in major home renovations, the bins can be replaced periodically when they get filled up or you can rent a larger size if there is space available to do so.
Here at Guaranteed Services, we work with homeowners as well as professionals who are involved with home renovations. We’ll help you select the correct bin for your project and your needs. Whether you need a short-term rental or something longer, we can work with you to make sure your home renovations stay on track. We handle the delivery, pick-up, and disposal of the waste from demolition and the scrap materials generated during home renovations. This makes it easy to budget for your project instead of having unexpected landfill charges.
Roofing Contractors and DIY Homeowners Need Roofing Disposal Services
Whether you are a company that replaces roofs regularly or a homeowner looking to handle this grueling project on your own, you are both going to face the same dilemma – proper removal of the old roofing materials. The ideal way to handle this is with roofing disposal services. You won’t have to worry about getting a dumpster or large enough truck on the job site and then later disposing of the waste.
Roofing disposal services can work with you whether you have a full team and can get a roof done in a day or you need to take a few days because you are doing it by yourself. They can even help you determine the correct size bin for your job based on your roof size, type of roofing material, and number of layers being removed. The bins are open-top, so it is easy to drop off the materials from the roof to reduce climbing up and down on a ladder.
There are other advantages that a roofing contractor will enjoy by using roofing disposal services. First of all, you won’t need to make the investment in a vehicle that can handle the waste and debris. This makes it perfect if you are just getting into the industry or you’re a handyman who doesn’t do a lot of roof business to warrant getting a large truck. Another advantage is that you’ll know what the cost is upfront, so you can use that when preparing a bid for doing a roofing project.

Being the person in charge of clearing out the home of a deceased loved one is challenging in so many ways – both physically and emotionally. As you prepare for the estate sale, you’ll inevitably come across many things that nobody in the family wants and the estate sale company doesn’t deal with. While you could try to sell those things other ways, that takes time, which further extends this trying time. If you have a fair number of things to dispose of, garbage bin rentals will be the ideal way to go.
Garbage bin rentals are available in many different sizes, from a smaller 10 cubic yard size up to large 40 cubic yard ones. If you are concerned about having one on the property for too long, you can arrange for same-day service where they drop off and pick up the bin on the same day. This works out great if you have already sorted through everything and have it in one spot ready to dispose of. If space inside doesn’t permit you to work this way, you can do an extended rental and add things as you come to them.
There is considerable time savings with garbage bin rentals over other disposal methods you could do. Even if you have curb trash pickup, that may not be viable if you have a lot to put out or items that aren’t allowed. Taking your haul to the landfill would take time and a truck to do it with.
If you would like to know more about garbage bin rentals, contact us at Guaranteed Services. We are your reliable source in the Barrie, Ontario area, and we promise you’ll receive friendly and courteous service throughout this challenging time of preparing for an estate sale.
Container Rentals Make Your Project Easier – Here’s Why
If you are planning any sort of landscaping or construction project, choosing container rentals over disposing of waste yourself can be an important step. In fact, if you have been putting off renting a bin before your upcoming project, you may be surprised to learn that there are several advantages to scheduling bin delivery to your site.
- Cleanliness – One of the greatest advantages of container rentals is they provide the ability to keep your site cleaner. Not only can you avoid stares from the neighbours, but you can also keep your landscape in good condition rather than tossing rubbish into the yard.
- Delivery/Removal – Another reason container rentals are a great choice is because of the delivery and removal option. Simply schedule container delivery on your project start date, and then have the company pick it up when you are done. It’s as simple as that!
- Convenience – Lastly, when you schedule container rentals for any type of project, you’ll enjoy the convenience of knowing that you don’t have to use your own vehicles to transport waste to the proper facility. A container rental company will take care of that part for you!
At Guaranteed Services, we look forward to providing container rentals that are convenient and affordable for any project you may have coming up. We offer reliable quotes, don’t have hidden fees, and we’ll even help you choose the bin that will work best. Four Times You Need a Container for Rubbish Removal
There are some projects that, by design, produce a lot of waste. When that happens, you need a convenient place to dispose of the scraps and rubbish until the project is through. Here are four times when you’ll want to make sure you schedule bin delivery for easier rubbish removal:
- Landscaping – Landscaping projects can be a lot of fun, and create a lot of waste. Having a container for rubbish removal will keep your unwanted debris in one location and keep the rest of the landscape looking its best.
- Construction – Construction is easily one of the messiest jobs, whether it’s building something new or tearing down something old. Containers are ideal for rubbish removal in this case because your waste removal company can simply haul away any waste once the construction project is complete.
- Remodeling – Another project that often requires rubbish removal is remodeling, whether its interior or exterior. Not only is it fun to chuck waste into the bin outside, but you don’t have to worry about damaging other parts of your property with the proper bin.
- Roofing – Roofing projects can be quite messy and having a container designated for rubbish removal ensures that all the shingles, scraps, and other roofing materials are stored safely in one place. Your roof and yard will look better with a bin that keeps rubbish contained.
At Guaranteed Services, we can help you select the proper bin for your project as well as provide rubbish removal services when the project is complete at your home or business. We also offer reliable quotes and competitive pricing to ensure that you get the most from your container rental. Contact us today to get started.

What Junk Removal Has To Do With Your Happiness
If you’re like most people, you have a lot of junk piled up in your home. Sure, we are all good at hiding it, but it’s there. We have storage containers, closet bins, attics, garages, organizational units and boxes all to contain our large amounts of junk. But when it comes down to it, how often do you really use all of those things put away in boxes? Or the things stored up in your attic? You may not realize it, but all of that excess junk is actually weighing you down and affecting your overall happiness. Embarking on a junk removal project will improve your happiness and allow you to experience more joy in your day-to-day life.
We have a connection with each of our belongings, good or bad. While some of our belongings bring us joy, a lot of them bring emotions like guilt, frustration, or even anger. Have you ever been looking for something you need and as you are digging through box after box, you feel angry that you can’t find what you are looking for and annoyed that you have so much stuff? Or do you have a gift from your grandma that you never use, but you can’t give it away because you don’t want to hurt her feelings, so every time you look at it you just feel guilty that you don’t like it, even though she’d never notice if you got rid of it? Sigh . . . It’s exhausting just thinking about it!
We experience these types of emotions on a daily basis, all having to do with the belongings that we have in our home. Fortunately, there is a way out of this, and our team at Guaranteed Services can help! When you are ready to purge the junk from your home, you can rent garbage bins from us, so we can haul away all your unwanted junk. We bring the bin to your property and will leave it there as long as you need it during your junk removal project. When you’re finished, we will take the bin and all your junk with us. Once you’ve decluttered your home and completed your junk removal project, you will see how much happier you feel.
3 Reasons You Should Use Dumpster Rentals
When you are gearing up for a renovation project, don’t overlook the amount of waste that your project is going to produce. Dumpster rentals are a great way to stay on task and complete the project at hand without having to stop and take trips to the dump or clean up messes twice — everything just goes into the dumpster, and we’ll take it away at the end. Here are 3 reasons that will have you convinced you should use dumpster rentals for your next renovation project.
1. Temporary. Most of us aren’t eager to keep a large dumpster on our personal or commercial property, but during a remodeling project, you will produce far more waste than you normally do. Dumpster rentals are perfect as a temporary solution to the larger amount of waste you’ll be throwing out during the project. Our dumpster rentals are available for any duration of time you need, so you can use the dumpster as long as you’d like, and we’ll haul it away when your project is complete.
2. We will dispose of your waste. Making trips to the dump is time-consuming, especially if you don’t have the right equipment or live far away. As part of your dumpster rental, we agree to bring the dumpster to your property and pick it up when you are finished. We will dispose of the waste for you– no further hassle is necessary! It’s simple and will save you countless hours of hauling waste.
3. Varying sizes available. We have several sizes of dumpster rentals, so you can choose a size that fits the needs of your project. You won’t have to overpay for more space than you need, but you can still have all the convenience of using a dumpster rental.
At Guaranteed Services, we will simplify your renovation project. Let us know when you’re ready for us to deliver your dumpster rentals!
Why You Need Waste Bins For Your Home Renovations
As we plan and dream for our big home renovations, we spend hours going over the details of colours and materials and cost and functionality and countless other plans that go into a home design. Once we’ve got that all figured out, we’re ready to jump into our home makeover project and get things moving along. But before you start, it’s important to remember one crucial part of any home renovation project: what are you going to do with all that junk?
A big part of home renovations is demolition. You need to get all the old, damaged, unwanted materials out of your home before you can bring in the new stuff and get into the fun part of home renovations. Many people seriously underestimate the amount of raw material that you produce when you are tearing down for a remodeling project. It’s similar to moving. You never realize how much stuff you own until you have to start boxing all of it up. For this reason, having a waste bin on your property is ideal for getting demolition and clearing out all the unwanted materials.
Even if you have a truck you can use to haul junk to the junkyard, a waste bin is a far better solution. We have several different size options you can choose from, and you can keep the bin as long as you need it. Instead of spending hours during your home renovations making trips to the dump, you can focus on getting the job done, and we’ll come pick up your waste bin and dispose of your waste for you.
Waste bins are not only useful for the demolition, but for the installation, as well. Chances are you’ll have plenty of packaging from your home renovation materials, and you’ll need to be able to dispose of that, too. From start to finish, our team at Guaranteed Services is here to help make your home renovations go as smoothly as possible.
How to Figure out What Size Garbage Bin Rentals You Need
How to Figure out What Size Garbage Bin Rentals You Need
by Waste Services Specialist | Nov 15, 2016 | Waste Services Blog | 0 comments
Once you have decided that you need garbage bin rentals, you will have to figure out what size you want. Homeowners and business owners alike will frequently rent garbage bins to help them during renovations or massive junk removal and cleaning. The average available sizes for residential rentals are 10, 14, 20, or 40 cubic yards. Since the smallest and largest are dramatically different, you will want to carefully think about which size to order.
- Amount of Waste- It can be incredibly hard to estimate the amount of waste that you will be producing, but doing so is the best way to figure out the ideal size for garbage bin rentals. The average person who is going through the junk in a small home will need a much smaller bin than will someone who is doing the same with a mansion or going through the home of a hoarder. The good news is that if you choose a garbage bin that doesn’t hold all of your waste, you can always get a same-day rental of an additional one to take care of the extra.
- Space and Budget- While the ideal situation is to get a container that will hold all of the waste you are producing, this is not always practical. Larger bins will obviously take up much more room, so if you have a small property, you may need to opt for two consecutive garbage bin rentals of 10-cubic-yard containers. Just be sure to schedule them correctly, so the old one is removed before the new one is brought over. You should also consider your budget, as larger bins cost more to rent. That being said, you will typically spend less money by choosing a bin that is large enough for your needs at first. Otherwise, you will have to pay additional delivery charges for the second bin.
If you’re still not sure what size of garbage bin rental you need, give us a call at Guaranteed Services, and we’d be happy to help you figure it out!
Advantages of Open-Top Roll Off Dumpsters
As you start your search for a dumpster to rent, you will notice that there are several different varieties available. In addition to the various sizes, some will be open-top roll off dumpsters, while others have closed tops or don’t roll. The open top and the rolling both create advantages, making this particular style of dumpster ideal for nearly every situation.
When using open-top roll off dumpsters, you will quickly notice how convenient the lack of a top is. You don’t have to try to lift the lid of the dumpster with one hand while throwing the garbage inside with the other like you would with a lidded bin. Even if you swung the lid on a dumpster back and left it in place, it would take up extra room. Open-top dumpsters, on the other hand, never take up extra space, since they don’t have lids, and you can easily put items inside with ease. They can also be filled up to a higher point than closing dumpsters, although it is still not recommended to overfill the dumpster.
The rolling nature of open-top roll off dumpsters gives them another huge advantage in terms of mobility. Any container will be heavy enough so you probably can’t move it easily by yourself or even with one other person, but roll-off ones make life a bit easier. They are simpler to reposition on your property if you decide you put them in a bad spot.
If you have any questions about the open-top roll off dumpsters we have to rent, give us a call at Guaranteed Services.
Why Rent a Bin For Your Home Renovations?
Home renovations are already expensive, and renting a bin can seem like an extra cost you don’t really need. In reality, however, you will almost always be glad you rented a container during your home renovations, as it will make life easier and save you the hassle of negotiating with your city waste removal service.
Having a bin during your home renovations is a matter of convenience for most homeowners. You don’t have to bring individual bags of garbage all the way down to the curb of your home or leave them sitting out until garbage day. Instead, you just throw the items in the bin and have it removed once you fill it or on the scheduled day. You can decide exactly how long you need the bin for and when you want it.
In most areas, local waste removal services will charge you with significant fees if you have more than the typical amount of garbage. The quantity allowed varies by area, but most home renovations will produce much more than your local services like to handle. In some cases, they may not even have the option to take all of the garbage for you. In this case, you would have to keep a pile of garbage on your property and slowly throw it out over the course of several weeks so you stay within the collection limits. A bin removes this need, so you don’t have to deal with a messy pile of trash, the smell associated with it, or critters attracted to the pile.
At Guaranteed Services, we offer bin rentals that are perfect for home renovations. Call us today to learn more!
Why Should You Pick a Company with Same-Day Dumpster Services?
If you have decided that you need a dumpster for some reason, you will be best off choosing a company that offers same-day dumpster services. The obvious benefit is that you will get the dumpster the same day you order it, but there are even more advantages than this.
Whether you need the container for a construction site or to help take care of the excess junk in your home, opting for same-day dumpster services lets you begin your tasks right away. If something has come up and you need to begin your project immediately, you could end up moving waste twice if you don’t have the dumpster right away. Without a dumpster on the same day, you will end up creating a garbage pile by where you want the container to go and then have to put it into the container once it arrives. With same-day services, however, you will get the dumpster nearly right away, so you can put the items right in the bin when you get started.
Even if you don’t need the bin right away, it is a smart idea to choose a company with same-day dumpster services. This can be incredibly convenient if it turns out you underestimated the amount of garbage you are producing. Instead of trying to overload the bin you ordered or creating a secondary trash pile, you can just order an extra container as soon as you realize you will need it and have it by the time your current one is full, assuming you place the order at least a few hours before the original one fills up.
At Guaranteed Services, we offer same-day dumpster services in Barrie, Collingwood, and Innisfil, Ontario. Give us a call today to schedule your rental!
Waste Dumpster Rentals Can Make Your Life Easier
Whether you are a business, a contractor, or a homeowner, you will find a few situations throughout your life in which waste dumpster rentals make life easier. Renting a waste dumpster is a logical option in any situation where you will be producing a great deal of garbage and can’t just throw it out in the same way you would your regular trash. After all, most local garbage removal services have some sort of limit in place. Here are two of the most common situations when renting a waste dumpster makes the most sense.
- Home or Business Renovations- When you are renovating a building, whether it is your home or business, you are likely to produce a great deal of garbage. While you can toss a few bags out with your weekly trash collection, you will need waste dumpster rentals to take care of more than this. Whether your renovations include removing old furniture or old carpets or are just creating a great deal of waste, the container will be the ideal method of taking care of this trash. Contractors will also find these container rentals incredibly useful, whether they are working on smaller home renovations or a large construction site.
- Massive Home Cleaning and Junk Removal- Every once in a while, you will want to go through your home to get rid of the items that are in poor condition, no longer work, or you don’t use anymore. Taking advantage of waste dumpster rentals in this case is smart, since you won’t have to worry about going over your local collection limits for waste. Instead, you can just throw out anything that fits in the container and be done with it.
At Guaranteed Services, our waste dumpster rentals are affordable and convenient. To schedule your rental, contact us today!
Is a 10-Yard Dumpster Right for Your Waste Disposal Needs?
At Guaranteed Services, we have many different dumpster sizes available to meet the various waste disposal needs of our clients. One of our most popular sizes is our 10-yard dumpster. Here are some situations in which one of these dumpsters may come in handy:
- You are cleaning out your garage, shed, or attic.
- You are a contractor performing a small residential structural demolition.
- You are a roofer and have a minor roof repair job to take care of that involves removing damaged shingles and disposing of them.
- You have plans to perform a small renovation project.
- You would like to perform a general household cleanup project either before a move or simply to declutter.
On all of these containers, we have marked the 10 cubic yard level. If you end up needing to use the extra four cubic yards in the dumpster as your project progresses, you are permitted to do so for an additional charge. However, if you end up needing to do this, please notify us before we come and pick up the container.
Although we will charge you extra for exceeding the 10-yard level line on our containers, when you rent a dumpster from us for your waste disposal needs, the price is the price. For your convenience, we do not tack on administrative, environmental, or fuel surcharges to the total cost of our rentals. To rent one of our 10-yard dumpsters or to find out if this waste disposal option is the right size for your upcoming project, please reach out to us at Guaranteed Services today.
How to Dispose of the Things That Aren’t Allowed in Our Containers
Renting one of our containers for a home renovation or another type of project is a great way to make the job more convenient. However, there are certain things that we do not allow to be put into our containers, such as motor oil, car batteries, used tires, and appliances. If you have any of these items that youneed to get rid of, here’s what you should do with them instead:
- Motor oil—If you have used motor oil sitting around in your garage, take it to the place where you get your oil changed. They will be able to dispose of it in the proper manner.
- Car batteries—Many auto repair shops will accept used car batteries. Talk to your auto repair shop to find out whether they would be willing to dispose of a used car battery for you.
- Used tires—A tire changing facility may be willing to take your used tires for recycling. Or, you might want to try to sell them to someone else. Remember, what’s junk to you may be treasure to someone else!
- Appliances—If you have working appliances that you no longer need or want, consider donating them to a local charity. Although you may have to dedicate some time to dropping these things off somewhere, someone in need will likely appreciate having them.
If you’d like to know more about what can and can’t go into our containers, contact us at Guaranteed Services. We’re always more than happy to answer your questions!
Junk Removal 101: How Much Junk is Too Much?
Everyone has things in their home that they don’t necessarily use, want, or need. However, there comes a point where you might look around in your home and think to yourself that you might have too much stuff.
Why Clutter is Harmful
Having too much clutter in your home can affect your mental and physical health. This is because having too much stuff can drain your energy, overwhelm you, and distract you while you are at home. Those who help people unclutter their lives professionally also remark that people living in cluttered homes often experience feelings of depression.
On the physical end, a home that is filled with too much clutter can be a fire hazard to residents, visitors and pets. This is because things piled throughout a home can become a tripping hazard and make it difficult for firefighters to enter a building safely.

Tips for Using and Renting Our Garbage Bin Rentals
At Guaranteed Services, our garbage bin rentals are ideal for junk removal projects, small renovation projects, and for other waste disposal purposes. If you’ve decided to use one of our garbage bin rentals for an upcoming project, there are things you need to know about renting and using the container.
- Know What Size You Need. Currently, we have 10-cubic yard, 14-cubic yard, 20-cubic yard, and 40-cubic yard garbage bin rentals available to residential properties. In order to ensure you have plenty of room in the bin throughout the duration of your project, think carefully about what size you need before you make a reservation. Our team is always available to help you with this part of the process.
- Make Sure You Can Easily Access the Container. As you use one of our garbage bin rentals, it is critical that you can easily access the container for the sake of your safety and for convenience. Before we drop off your bin rental, assess your property and figure out a spot where the dumpster can go that is on level ground and free from any surrounding obstacles.
- Understand What Can and Can’t Go in the Bin. Although many types of materials can be placed in our garbage bin rentals, there are certain materials that are not allowed in them. For example, we do not allow you to dispose of hazardous materials, like gasoline, in our containers. If there is something you want to dispose of that you aren’t sure is permitted, please check with us before placing it in one of our containers.
Why Using One of Our Bin Rentals Can Make Moving Easier
When you’re in the middle of getting ready to move, there probably seems like there are a hundred things on your to-do list. If you want to make your life easier, here are a few ways our bin rentals can help:
- You can easily dispose of things you don’t want—Moving is a great time to go through your things and figure out what you want to keep, what you want to donate, and what can be thrown away. However, the only challenge of getting rid of things is figuring out where to take them. With our bin rentals, you can easily get rid of the things you don’t want anymore by simply taking them outside and disposing of them in the container your rented.
- We manage drop-off and pick-up—We realize that moving can be extremely stressful. For this reason, when you use one of our bin rentals before a big move, we’ll schedule a convenient time to drop off the bin at your home and pick it up when you’re done with it.
- You don’t have to move things you don’t need—One of the reasons why sorting through your things before a move is a pain is because once you figure out what things to get rid of, you often run out of time to take them to the proper disposal location. Our bin rentals save you time not only because we pick up the bin after you’re done with it and dump it, but also because you don’t have to move things you don’t want twice.
Understanding Our Two Options for Residential Dumpster Rentals
When you decide to rent one of our dumpster rentals for a residential project, at Guaranteed Services, we will do everything we can to exceed your expectations. However, before you finalize your reservation, it’s a good idea to understand our two options for residential dumpster rentals and how they work.
Option One
If you go with our first rental option, you can rent one of our containers for a five-day time period. However, you can always rent the container for longer if you need to. Through this program, the price of your dumpster rental will be determined by:
- The material you intend to dispose of
- Where you are located
- What size dumpster you rent
Please keep in mind that we do not allow any hazardous materials in our dumpster rentals.
Option Two
Our second option for residential properties is our flat-rate program. Through this program, you can either rent one of our 10, 14, or 20 cubic yard dumpsters to clean up your home. Pricing for this option is all-inclusive and includes delivering the container to your property and dumping it after we pick it up.
If you rent a dumpster through our flat-rate program, you are not allowed to put roofing or concrete products, like concrete and bricks, into the dumpster. Additionally, we do not allow any renovation materials, like drywall and plaster, to be put in our dumpsters through this residential program.
Contact us at Guaranteed Services today if you have any questions about either of these programs. We look forward to hearing from you and meeting your waste disposal needs.
Three Reasons Why Our Roll Off Dumpsters are Great for General Contractors
As a general contractor, you want things to go as smoothly as possible when you work on a project at a residential location. If you haven’t already used one of our roll off dumpsters before, there are several reasons why renting one can contribute to the success of your next project.
- You Can Maintain a Clean Working Area. When you work on any type of residential project, you are solely responsible for making sure the worksite and the surrounding area stays clean and organized. By renting one of our roll off dumpsters, you don’t have to worry about where leftover building materials will go. Instead, all you have to do is make sure everything goes into the dumpster.
- Our Roll Off Dumpsters are Versatile. During any given week, you probably work on several different projects. For this reason, you need the roll off dumpsters you use to accommodate many types of building materials. Fortunately, you can dispose of most types of construction and building materials when you use one of our dumpsters. However, it’s important to remember that we don’t allow hazardous materials in any of our dumpsters.
- We’re Reliable. When you work on a project, you do your best to make sure you’re able to meet your client’s exact deadlines. At Guaranteed Services, we realize this and will get your roll off dumpster to the right place at the right time. This way, you don’t have to wait to get the project started because you didn’t have anywhere to put leftover building materials.
How to Get the Most Out of Your Next Junk Removal Project
If you feel like the clutter in your home has gotten to be too much and you’re ready to go forward with the junk removal process, you may be overwhelmed by everything that needs to get done. To make your life easier, at Guaranteed Services, we have a few tips that might help as you clear out old junk from your home.
- Don’t Clear Out Your House in One Day. After you get started with the junk removal process, you may not want to stop working until things are completely done. However, doing this can be overwhelming and get in the way of your motivation. Instead, start with the most cluttered rooms in your home and try to do just one room at a time.
- Categorize Your Junk. As you go through your home, everything you find probably won’t need to go straight to the trash. For this reason, we suggest putting things into three separate categories: things that need to be thrown away, items for donation, and things you want to keep. If you come across an item that you’re not sure what to do with during the junk removal process, put it aside and come back to it once you’re done clearing out your home.
- Rent One of Your Dumpsters. After you clean out your home, you’ll probably have several items that need to be thrown away. If you’re worried that everything won’t fit in your trash can, we strongly recommend renting one of our dumpsters. This way, you can conveniently take your old things out to the dumpster, and we’ll come and dispose of them for you when you’re done.
10-Yard Bin Rentals: Is this the Right Size Dumpster for Your Upcoming Project?
When you have a project coming up, you probably realize that you’re going to need one of our bin rentals to easily get rid of the leftover debris. However, figuring out what size bin you need can be a little bit difficult. To give you a better feel for what our bin rentals can be used for, we recommend renting a 10-yard bin if:
- You plan on cleaning out your attic, basement, shed, or garage
- You are doing a small structural demolition project
- You have a minor home renovation project coming up
- You plan on doing a general household cleanout
As you can see, our 10-yard bin rentals generally work best for smaller residential projects.
Getting the Most Out of Your Rental
Here at Guaranteed Services, we want to make sure that using one of our bin rentals is as beneficial as possible. For this reason, we encourage you to remember that disposing of hazardous materials is not permitted when you use one of our bin rentals. When you call us to rent your bin, please don’t hesitate to double check that what you need to dispose of during your project can be put in our bins.
We also need you to remember that you should not exceed the fill line in the bin while putting waste in it. If you do need to do this, however, just let us know. Additional charges may apply.

What Can and Can’t Go into Our Construction Bins
Renting one of our construction bins is a great way to streamline your construction project and ensure that all of the leftover material has a place to go. However, when we drop off one of our construction bins at your worksite, this doesn’t mean that anything and everything can go in the bin. Here are some things that you can put in our rental containers, and some things that should stay out of them.
What Can You Put in the Dumpster?
In general, any type of standard demolition or construction material is allowed in our constructions bins. Some of the materials that we allow include:
- Renovation debris
- Old roofing shingles
- Drywall and concrete
- Brick and stone
- Siding
We also allow other types of non-toxic debris, such as paper products, like cardboard, yard waste, old furniture, household junk, and recyclable materials.
What Can’t Go in the Dumpster?
In order to ensure that renting one of our construction bins is a beneficial experience, please refrain from putting motor oil and other car fluids, explosives, whole tires, asbestos materials, and flammable materials or liquids into our dumpsters. We also ask you to prevent batteries and appliances with Freon in them from being put into our rental containers.
If you want to know if you can dispose of a specific material that isn’t included under either of these categories, contact us at Guaranteed Services. We would be more than happy to go over which materials we allow in our construction bins and which ones we prohibit in further detail.
