The Networking Effect was originally conceived as a seemingly simple solution to a complex problem; how does one market to the vast and fragmented sector of small business? The solution was to build a loyalty program that gathered small business people together in one virtual place using incentives such as great local deals and valuable educational content. Once this process got underway however, the management team at The Networking Effect quickly realized that, as a consequence of building a community of small businesses online, a far more interesting value proposition could be leveraged.
By adding a suite of networking tools that are attached to each member's virtual profile, The Networking Effect evolved into focusing on helping local small businesses connect and build meaningful relationships with each other in an online environment. These unique systems allow our members to declare their business needs to the community, generating specific referrals in relation to each need. The Networking Effect is also designed to track those connections made.
